Andillian Malbec

WINE MAKING

Selection of the best hand-picked grapes. Cold maceration is then implemented, followed by fermentation: 50% in stainless steel vats and 50% in oval concrete vats. Post-fermentation maceration then takes place for 20 days to round out the tannis and concentrate the fruit. The wine is then aged for a further 6 months, 30% in french oak barrells and 70% in stainless steel vats.

TASTING
Deep ruby red in colour. Andillian Malbec is intense on the nose with aromas of spice such as thyme and jarilla typical of the fields of Los Chacayes, with notes of red fruits such as wild strawberries, blackberries and plum. It is pleasant and elegant on the palate, with a touch of oak providing a long, smooth finish.
